Antique 20th Century English solid silver rifle shooting trophy. Featuring a solid silver Mark III Lee Enfield rifle raised above an ebonised plinth. The plinth features a blank shooting target, also in silver. Five plaques are mounted on the ebonised wooden plinth, engraved "'1933 CQMS EBBETTS','1934 SERGT THORNELOE','1933 RFN PEDDIE','1937 RFN D.F.TURNBULL','1938 RFN P.T.D.PHILLIPS'.

A vintage 20th Century English solid silver novelty cased set of 8 butt markers enclosed within a shotgun shell case. Twist the bottom part of the shell and then the markers are revealed in a outward spreading fashion. On the top of the shell it is engraved "LOADED BY ASPREY" "SMOKELESS" and on the base "ASPREY'S CARTRIDGE PLACEFINDER, PATENT APPLIED FOR".
A perfect set to use by a group of friends before a shoot, engraved with numbers 1-8 to use as shooting butt marker, so that each gunman can randomly pick a stick denoting their shooting position. Antique early 20th Century German large solid silver statue, beautifully and realistically modelled as a reindeer. During the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, the German silver making centre of Hanau became renowned for producing highly decorative silver objects inspired by historical European styles.
Among the most celebrated creations were naturalistically modelled animal figures, ranging from birds and fish to exotic creatures and game animals. Hanau silversmiths demonstrated remarkable skill in capturing texture, movement, and anatomical detail, transforming practical objects into sculptural works of art.

Antique early 20th Century German Black Forest oak cabinet, adorned with stag antlers and fallow deer throughout. The upper section features two wide glass doors that open to reveal shelves within, while the lower section boasts solid oak doors, complete with the original locking key. An extremely rare elephant bird egg, complete albeit with only minor damage. The Elephant Bird, formally categorised as Aepyornis Maximus, is an enormous flightless bird native to Madagascar. Standing as high as 3.4 metres and weighing up to 500kg, the Elephant Bird was undoubtedly the largest bird ever to have lived. Compared to even the largest modern ostrich (up to 8 feet high and weighing 300lbs) it was far taller and thicker-set with its far more muscular legs. A comparable species in terms of size is the Moa of New Zealand, which are also now extinct. The Elephant Bird roamed the plateaus and forest of Madagascar until their extinction sometime between the 14th and 17th centuries.

Garand M1 model rifle of enormous proportions, these rifles were made as “training guns“ as demonstrators for troops. Rather than showing individuals how the rifle worked they were able to demonstrate the mechanism (assembling, disassembling, cleaning, firing, etc) of the rifle to entire halls of troops, hence the cutaway sections which show the recoil system, the bolt and the cartridge chamber.

Antique 19th Century French bronze, expertly modelled as a panther in mid hunt, sinking its teeth and claws into a stag. The piece bears a brown and green patina and is signed to the base ‘BARYE’. (Antoine-Louis Barye (1796–1875). A French sculptor renowned for his dynamic and expressive animal bronzes, often hailed as the master of animalier sculpture.
Trained initially as a goldsmith, Barye developed an extraordinary eye for anatomical precision and movement. His works combined realism with dramatic composition. Barye exhibited widely at the Paris Salon, influencing generations of sculptors and elevating animal sculpture from decorative art to a respected fine art form. His bronzes remain highly sought after today for their technical mastery and vivid portrayal of the natural world.
