19th Century George IV silver salver with cast border, impressively large size and extremely heavy gauge, of shaped-circular form on three impressive cast feet, with applied cast border depicting grapevine and flowers, the centre chased with scrolls and flowers and featuring an exceptional coat of arms for the Goldsmid family. Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1825 (k), Maker's mark IET for John Edward Terrey.

Antique 19th Century Victorian Solid Silver "Cellini" pattern ewer, the pattern is so called in honor of Benvenuto Cellini, the sculptor and goldsmith of the 16th Century, considered one of the greatest of all time.

19th Century German pair of silver monumental wine ewers, both heavily cast in the style of Renaissance mythological grotesque birds with eagle heads, the bodies are embossed with mythological scenes, heraldic motifs and equestrian battle scenes. Resting on a large spread plumage and ball-shaped claw feet.
Both bases are Hallmarked German Hanau pseudo-marks, acid tested shows a 800+ standard, the makers mark is unknown to me, but judging by the style the piece dates to the late 19th Century (1880-1900), also struck with the post-1953 Dutch first standard import mark.

19th Century Georgian silver cup & cover, richly gilt, campana-form, the tapering body is applied with two cast snake shaped handles and with a band of scrolling foliage above a Greek key band, the cover is surmounted by a large acorn finial and acanthus leaves. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1808 (N), Maker's mark W.B for William Bennett.

19th Century French silver figural ewer & basin, raised on a circular foot applied with cast handle modelled as a partially nude female figure, the tall baluster body is intricately hand engraved on matted ground with scroll work and leafy foliage, the center bears a lager vacant cartouche. Hallmarked French export silver, Maker's mark for Ferry.

18th Century Georgian silver pair of sauce boat, of oval form with applied scroll rim, leaf-capped scroll handle, the body decorated with Rococo scrolls and centered with an engraved crest 'NUNC ET SEMPER - NOW AND ALWAYS ( James Whorwood, Fourth and youngest son of Thomas Whorwood.) Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1752 (r), Maker's mark RA for Robert Albin Cox.

20th Century Austrian richly gilt silver mantel clock, profusely set with garnets and topped with carved carnelian, pearls, beautifully engraved and enamelled, applied all-over with strap-work, clock set with a white enamel dial with roman numerals. The clock mechanism doesn't appear to be in working condition.

19th Century Victorian rare pair of novelty cast silver table salt-cellars, each formed as a figure in 18th Century costume, standing on an elaborate rococo designed base and both holding a woven basket. Hallmarked on the base English silver (925), London, year 1899 (d), Makers mark for Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd.

19th Century Austrian silver figure modelled as a Native American with an ostrich, the body is richly decorated with precious stones and applies with multi-coloured enamels, the figures stand on Lapis Lazuli ground, the base is resting on lion-paw shaped feet and the top is surmounted with beautifully hand etched rock crystal pot.

19th Century Victorian Empire style solid silver & glass ewer, richly gilt, applied decorative bands with stylized leaves, cherub and masks in relief, scroll handle applied with a nymph feeding grape to a putto, the removable stopper is surmounted by a grapes finial. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1857 (b), Maker's mark IF for John Wilmin Figg.

19th Century Georgian silver pair of large tureens & covers, each of round form, later chased in the Victorian-era and applied with very decorative cast dragon handles, each side is applied with a family crest of Dickson of Arbroath to both cartouches (Fortes Fortuna Juvat - Fortune favors the bold), each cover is surmounted by a stunning cast finial of a winged cherub. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1789 (O), Maker's mark unknown, struck with french swan import mark.

19th Century German silver mounted hand etched glass novelty decanter, modelled as a realistically modelled crowing rooster, with the silver head cast with a hinged lid, the shaped glass body intricately etched to simulate feathers, twin glass handles, the base applied with cast silver feet. Hallmarked German Hanau silver, Maker's mark J.D Schleissner & Sohne.

19th Century Victorian Silver magnificent and exceptional pair of comports. Each piece featuring a sumptuous workmanship and a very heavy gauge, the unscrewable openwork dishes have a broad peacock tail border surrounded by a stylized scrolling design, the heavy cast stems with beaded borders and four protruding lion's masks, they rest on a cast scrolling border. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1874 (t), Maker's mark on each part crowned RG for Robert Garrard II.
