19th Century Japanese Meiji period silver water dragon bowl, exceptional and magnificent quality, double walled, chased, embossed and applied with a water dragon in very high relief with applied flowing whiskers. The base is signed in old Japanese, marked 1000.

19th Century Victorian 18k gold snuff box, cartooche shaped, cover , base and body profusely engraved with scrolling foliage, the base with central vignette depicting a ship at sea, the cover cartouche engraved with a crest of a lion holding a flower, the interior cover with Political presentation inscription: Birkenhead Election, 24th Nov 1874 and vote results. Hallmarked English Gold 18 (750), London, year 1851 (Q), Maker's mark for Nathaniel Mills.

19th Century German silver impressively large lidded tankard, in the style of the early 16th Century example, beautifully chased and embossed with a very detailed and crowded battle scene, the removable base decorated with scrolling foliage in relief, large figural handle terminating with a scrolling leaf junction, hinged domed cover in the same style applied with a scrolling feather shaped thumb-piece and lid mounted with a large figure of a soldier on horseback with a spear.
Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo-marks (800+ standard), the work is attributed to Maker J.D.Schleissner & Sohne.

19th Century German silver and cut glass extremely decorative wine claret jug, of massive size, cut-glass body mounted with a silver collar profusely chased in the Rococo style, with scrolling foliage and flowers, scroll handle, parcel gilt interior, the lid is applied with a decorative finial. Hallmarked German silver (800), Heilbronn, year 1880's, Maker's mark for Bruckmann & Sohne.

19th Century Chinese silver spittoon bowl, of round form with large wavy rim, plain ground applied, depicting birds flying and perched on blossoming cherry trees. Hallmarked Chinese silver 90 (900+), Mark "WH" for Wang Hing & Company.
