A larger than average antique Goyard trunk dating to the early part of the 20th century. Over recent years the brand has been relaunched and has taken the world of fashion by storm. The original E. Goyard firm was a trunk maker which rivalled LV and the trunks it made at the time ooze the same quality and finesse as its (now) more famous competitor. Today its trunks are revered as they weren’t made in vast quantities and even fewer have lasted to this day in good condition. This steamer trunk is covered in the famous Goyard chevron canvas, lozine trim and brass fittings make for an ideal investment piece for any collector and perfect to embellish any home. Stencilled initials of previous owner with black and yellow recognition stripes.
