18th Century rare Dutch gold snuff box, of plain oval form with hinged cover, the cover set with a miniature under glass, depicting a Dutch village scene.
Hallmarked with Dutch Gold marks, Amsterdam, year 1739 (E), Makers mark Crowned IH.

19th Century French chinoiserie gold & guilloche enamel brooch, of shaped rectangular form, the center mounted with a Chinese made, exquisitely carved mother of pearl panel depicting a Chinese aristocrat on horseback being welcomed, greeted by servants in lavish surroundings. The boarder applied with a translucent dark blue enamel on a engine turned ground, the edges applied with cast mythical dolphins set with cabochon rubies and old cut diamonds, a truly magnificent and unique piece of jewellery.

18th Century German 12k gold & silver snuff box, of cartouche form, the lid with an oval panel cast with a chinoiserie subject, surrounded by exotic birds and plants, the base engraved with elegant figures near a harbour (Fort Saint-Jean, Marseille) above a blank cartouche.
