20th Century French Art Deco 18k gold vanity case, of rectangular form with rounded corners, the lid set with a pyramid shaped jade, rows of diamonds and emeralds, set in platinum, the whole box is applied with black lacquer. The push button set with diamonds, inside revealing an empty compartment and a lid set mirror.
Hallmarked French 18k gold (owl, 750), English import marks, London, year 1929 (o), 18-75, Importer C.F (unknown to me).

20th Century French Art Deco 18k gold vanity case, of elongated rectangular form with rounded corners, the lid set with a platinum fan shaped hinge and lock, set with diamonds and corals, the top is applied with black lacquer and engine turned design on the base. Inside revealing an empty compartment and a lid set mirror.
Hallmarked French 18k gold (owl, 750 gold), the box dates to 1920-25 and is a stunning example of the early Art Deco pieces.

Inside two lidded compartment and a lid set a hinged mirror, revealing a cigarette holder. Unmarked, the inside mounts made of gilt metal, the box dates to 1920-25 and is a stunning example of the early Art Deco pieces.
