20th Century Italian silver pair of sculptural candelabra with gilded rococo bases on marble stands, representing a male and female centaur each holding a cornucopia supporting a acanthus leaf five light candelabrum. 

All figures signed Avolio, a very important silversmiths firm specializing in impressive sculptural pieces inspired to Classical Italian art. Hallmarked 800 (800+ silver standard), Signed Avolio (Luigi & Eugenio Avolio, active 1935-1971)

19th Century Russian provincial silver-gilt mounted coconut lidded cup, the coconut standing on a solid silver octagonal base, beautifully chased with acanthus leaves and engraved, the thin inverted stem terminates with a floral bulb and the coconut body supported by large acanthus leaves, applied with large family initials surrounded by an acanthus leaf and oak leaf boarders, inside is silver lined and lid mounted with a cast model of a bird of prey.

Hallmarked Russian silver 84, Tula city, year 1825, Maker's mark for Afanasy Mikhailov Sobinin.

20th Century Russian silver-gilt, cloisonne enamel and cut glass large tea caddy, richly gilt, cut glass container of square form mounted with a traditional button shaped pull of lid decorated with traditional Russian scrolls and flower wire work filled with vibrant polychrome cloisonne enamels.

20th Century German silver model of a ship, called a "Nef" in the style of the 15th-16th Century examples, impressively large and very detailed. The three-masted galleon with pierced gallery and crew on board deck and in crows nests. The hull decorated in relief and the front applied with a cast grotesque bird and deck applied with cannons, the hull supported by four grotesque birds.
