Antique 19th Century Victorian very important & one of a kind military presentation clock, top of the clock inscribed XII Royal Lancers 1840 and with hour hand formed as the Lancers flag, encircled by the Garter motto Honi soit qui mal y pense - "shame on anyone who thinks evil of it, the motto of the British chivalric Order of the Garter.

19th Century Russian silver-gilt cup with cover, of fluted baluster form, the body and lid applied with clusters of scrolls and foliage, standing on 4 scroll feet and applied with a decorative handle, the lid set with a knop formed of a bouquet of flowers, richly gilt throughout.
Hallmarked Russian Silver 84 (875 standard), St-Petersburg, year 1842, Maker's mark C.M.S for Stahle Carl Magnus.

19th Century Japanese Meiji period shibayama & enamel, filigree dish, the rich gold lacquer inlaid with mother-of-pearl and coral, depicting various birds amongst sprays of peonies, wisteria and blossoming branches.
