19th Century German (Hanau) silver-gilt pair of large lidded vases. Of inverted pear shape on acanthus leaf and lobed bases, both chased with elaborate coats-of-arms flanked by putti with swords and two agricultural scenes, sides applied with well modelled lion masks below applied scrolling ribbons, domed removable lids with cast finials fully modeled as putti with a rake and basket of flowers and the other shooting an arrow, each on detachable carved ebonised wood stands.
Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo marks, tested 800+ silver standard, marked on bases with French import marks.

19th Century French Empire silver four piece tea service, consisting of a coffee pot, teapot, lidded sugar bowl and cream jug, all on very elaborate and pierced spreading scroll foot, the body applied with masks, ribbons, flowers, leaves and reeded boarders, sides mounted with superb scroll handles, lids with coronet shaped finials. The cartouche engraved with dual crowned crests, commemorating the joining of two noble households.

19th Century French silver and clear glass pair of claret jugs, each body is of baluster form, beautifully swirled glass, the applied silver foot, neck and scroll handle are chased with leaves and scrolls, the hinged lid is surmounted by a cast sea shell finial.
Hallmarked French Silver (Minerva's head, 950 Standard silver purity), Paris, year 1890's, Maker's mark for La Maison Odiot.
