19th Century Monumental German silver-gilt lidded tankard, in the style of the early 17th century examples, beautifully chased and embossed with a very detailed grotesque masks, scrolls and foliage. The large and elaborate dragon shaped handle mounted to the side, holding the tankard with its claws, tankard standing on a trumpet shaped spreading foot and lid surmounted with a realistically modelled figure of a knight, holding a spear, seated on medieval watch tower.
Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo-marks, tested 900+ silver.

20th Century Japanese Meiji period silver & mixed-metal large vase. The bulbous body chased and applied with budgerigar with copper, gold and gilt details, parched on a blooming cherry tree branch, the vase features exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.

19th Century Chinese export silver trophy cup, impressive and exceptionally fine quality, decorated with repoussé prunus and perched birds against a hand chased matted ground, cup resting on an elegant shaped stem and domed foot, base decorated in similar complimentary design, both sides applied with c-shaped handles imitating branches and terminating with applied flowers.
Hallmarked with Chinese export marks, Artisan workshop mark of ZAN 賛, Shanghai and Retailer WS for Woshing.
