UNUSUAL 20thC FRENCH CONSOLE TABLE, HENRI FERNANDEZ c.1970
A spectacular console table designed and manufactured by Henri Fernandez in the 1970s, this item is largely made from brass encasing an amethyst geode. Amethysts are reported to open a person's third eye, considered to be a source of power and wisdom. Crystal practitioners believe a person can use amethysts to enhance or sharpen spiritual visions and enlightenment.
