20thC ENGLISH SOLID SILVER & TWO TONE GOLD CIGAR BOX, ASPREY & CO, LONDON c.1937

20th Century English solid silver cigar box of rectangular form, finely engraved with linear detailing throughout. A rose gold band frames the edges, while the lid is adorned with a decorative yellow gold border. At the centre, a blank cartouche offers space for personalised engraving. The interior lid is richly gilt, and the box is lined with burr walnut. The underside is covered with a light coloured leather.
Hallmarked English solid silver (925 standard), London, year 1937 (B), Maker's mark A&CoLTD (Asprey & Co Ltd).
