Antique early 20th Century German Black Forest oak cabinet, adorned with stag antlers and fallow deer throughout. The upper section features two wide glass doors that open to reveal shelves within, while the lower section boasts solid oak doors, complete with the original locking key. A superb piece, it would have once graced a stately home.
They were exclusively made for the European nobility to decorate their hunting castles and various manors. Antique furniture of this kind is very rare and much sought after, with somewhat of a revival over the past decade or so with many magazines showing interiors decorated with such items.
