A vintage 20th century French solid silver photograph frame by Hermès, Paris. The design features two buckle details applied to the front, a motif long associated with the house. Rooted in Hermès’ equestrian heritage, the buckle reflects the firm’s origins as a maker of harnesses and saddlery, and it has remained a recurring element across their leather goods, jewellery and accessories as a subtle reference to that tradition. The frame can be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation, offering versatility in use. With its clean lines and restrained detailing, it sits comfortably within both modern and classic interiors.
