DESCRIPTION
Antique early-20th Century Imperial Russian solid silver, gem set and hand painted enamel kovsh, sides applied with emeralds and rubies cabochons, with a shaped elongated handle, the body chased with traditional Pan-Slavic floral decoration and the front hand painted with a enamel plaque depicting a couple greeting with bread and salt, with Kremlin in the background. Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, 1899-1908, Maker's mark for Orest Kurlyukov.
