DESCRIPTION
Antique late-19th Century Indian Kutch (Cutch) solid silver stamp box, of octagonal form, impressively heavy gauge and exceptionally fine workmanship, the lid depicting a lion and a lioness killing an antelope, surrounded by foliate and floral repoussé design on matted ground. As often the case the silver is not Hallmarked, but acid tested shows a 900+ silver standard, it dates to the 1890's.

In Excellent Condition - No Damage.
