DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century Imperial Russian solid silver and niello enamel tea caddy, parcel gilt, of square form, each side decorated with a niello enamel decoration, depicting famous Moscow landmarks, St Basil's Cathedral, the Spaskaya tower, a view of the Kremlin from the Moscow river and cathedral of Christ the Savior. the sides and top of the lid chased with ivy foliate decoration.
Both parts are fully Hallmarked Imperial Russian silver 84 (875 silver standard), Assay master A.A (Anatoly A Artsybashev) Moscow, year 1888, Maker's mark in Cyrillic BC (Vasiliy Semenov)
CONDITION
In Excellent Condition - No damage, just minor wear.
