The external box is Hallmarked American "STERLING" silver, year about 1900s, Maker's mark for Black, Starr & Frost, excellent quality manufacturer and retailer of sterling silver novelties active in New York from 1874. 

CONDITION

General wear, the enamel dial is chipped and the minute's hand slightly bent, the silver case is in great condition.
