20thC AMERICAN SET OF EIGHT SOLID SILVER SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS BY CARTIER

A vintage 20th Century American solid silver & gilt set of eight salt and pepper pots. Of a octagonal form with a round domed lid. Four of the pots feature a gilt lid and the other four all solid silver. A wonderful accessory to wow guests at the dinner table, this set makes it a practical, every day use item but also a fantastic conversation piece. Each are marked to the base "Cartier STERLING".
