DESCRIPTION
Antique early-19th Century French large 18k gold-mounted and hand painted miniature snuff box, round shaped and concave sides for easy access, the top applied with an exquisitely hand painted miniature of a female in contemporary dress. Hallmarked French guarantee marks (acid tested 750+ standard), Paris, c.1800, Maker D.L (unknown to me)
