DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century Austrian solid silver, gem set & enamel horn, with enamelled pierced mounts and hand painted with mythological subjects within pale blue borders amid strap work collars set with precious gem stones, horn terminating in a fox head. The horn supported by a realistically and well modelled satyr on a domed base. Apparently unmarked, made in Austria (tested 800+ silver standard), Vienna, circa 1890.
CONDITION
In Good Condition - hairline cracks to the inside rim.
