DESCRIPTION
Antique late-19th Century Austrian hand painted enamel comport applied with silver-gilt mounts. The round-shaped bowl on domed stand depicting various classical scenes, surrounded by scrolling foliage on blue and white ground, inside decorated in similar manner. Hallmarked Austro-Hungarian silver guarantee mark (900 standard, used 1872-1922), Maker's mark "LP" for Ludwig Politzer.
