20thC ENGLISH SOLID SILVER & GOLD ALARM CLOCK BY JAEGER, RETAILED BY ASPREY & CO

A superb 20th Century English solid silver and gold desk alarm clock. The body is crafted from solid silver in the form of a horseshoe, adorned with solid gold studs designed to resemble grips. The movement is by the renowned Swiss maker Jaeger-LeCoultre and is signed Jaeger on the dial. The clock features an eight-day power reserve and an integrated alarm function, indicated by an additional hand on the dial. A small button at the top of the case silences the alarm when pressed.

Hallmarked English solid silver (925 standard), London, year 1956 (a), Maker's mark A&Co Ltd (Asprey & Co Ltd).
