DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century Georgian six-cup Egg Cruet, magnificent and exceptional piece, the shaped-circular stand resting on three lion paw feet, applied foliate scroll border, the central handle embellished with foliage and lion's masks, each cup also applied with a cast foliate border and engraved with a crest. The set comes with a matched set of six spoons. Stunning quality of workmanship, extraordinary and rare piece. Each part is Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, the stand and the cups year 1819 (d), Maker's mark ICWR (Joseph Craddock & William Ker Reid). The spoons year 1846 (L), Maker's mark ILHL (John & Henry Lias).
