DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century Irish Victorian Solid Silver wine ewer, extremely heavy and decorative, of inverted baluster form, the body is chased with a Rococo style floral decoration, large cast handle modelled as a sea monster, the hinged cover surmounted by a shell finial.
The silver is Hallmarked Irish Silver (925 Standard), Dublin, year 1846 (a), Maker's mark JM (James Moore).
