DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century rare Victorian solid silver tea caddy, Bombay shaped, heavy and profusely embossed, the panels depicting c-scrolls and flowers surrounding Chinese figures in landscape, plain square pull-off lid with cast figural finial of a Chinese man smoking an opium pipe.
All parts are Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1889 (O), Maker's mark JSH (Goldsmiths Alliance Ltd).
