Description
Antique 19th Century Victorian Solid Silver extremely large & heavy Punch bowl, of circular form made in the Queen Anne style, chased and applied with floral and stylized foliate strapwork decoration, one side is engraved with a family crest.
The piece is huge and very decorative, particularly crisp, a beautiful item to be used as a wine / champagne / punch bowl for special occasions, the inside is richly parcel gilt. Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1891 (Q), Maker's mark WBJ (Walter & John Barnard).
