Antique 20th Century extremely rare and precious Jewelled Solid Silver True Cross Reliquary, shaped as a six pointed cross standing on a circular base and surmounted by a smaller cross, the centre is applied with an enamelled Gold circular frame, the body is profusely set with Diamonds, Garnets, fresh water pearls, Quartz and a large Emerald or Tourmaline in Gold mounts. The centre is set with a removable compartment holding a Genuine True Cross Relic, bearing on the reverse the bishop's wax seal approving the relic's authenticity. Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), Birmingham, year 1924 (Z), Maker's mark B.H.J (Barnet Henry Joseph - B H Joseph & Co).
