DESCRIPTION
Antique early-20th Century Victorian Solid Silver twin-handled centrepiece bowl, richly gilded, extremely large size, the body is half-fluted, profusely embossed with scrolls and flowers, scrolling applied rim, the sides are applied with impressive cast figural handles realistically modelled as swans, the front is engraved with a family crest. The bowl is large and impressive, it can be used as a decorative centrepiece to hold flowers or as a wine cistern.
Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, year 1900 (f), Maker's mark H.E &Co (Hawksworth, Eyre & Co).
