Vintage 21st Century solid silver "Champagne Bottle" bubble blowers, engraved with "Asprey & Garrard Bubbles" on the label. Among the most imaginative creations produced by Asprey & Garrard at the turn of the 21st century was a remarkable series of solid silver novelties inspired by the rituals of fine drinking and celebration. Combining traditional silversmithing with mechanical ingenuity and humour, the firm transformed familiar champagne and cocktail paraphernalia into luxurious objets d'art. Particularly charming were the celebrated champagne bottle novelties in precious metals. These whimsical creations, alongside an array of cocktail sticks, wine-themed accessories, and other spirited curiosities, reflected a distinctly British sense of wit while showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship for which Asprey & Garrard had long been renowned. Each bubble blower is hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, 2000 (stamped with the rare commemorative millennium hallmark), Maker's mark A&G (Asprey & Garrard).
