Antique 19th Century Victorian large silver plated jug. Likely crafted as a prototype, potentially destined for exhibition or commissioned by a distinguished Royal Regiment for their esteemed officers' mess. Crafted in Britannia metal and plated in silver (otherwise known as pewter alloy), this is a superb addition to any banquet table. Stamped "BRITANNIA".
