20th Century pair of Indian Burmese Silver figural candelabra, massive size and exceptional craftsmanship, each resting on a stepped circular base stunningly embossed with three registers representing the early life of Buddha and animals amongst a foliate ground, the upper section is set with a pair of temple dancers holding three candle-holders set with removable nozzles.

Hallmarked "95 Silver" "Burma". The piece is typically Burmese, acid tested shows a 900+ silver standard, the pair dates to about 1910-30.
