Antique early-20th Century Monumental Burmese, Myanmar Solid Silver Thabeik bowl, extremely large and heavy gauge, repousse' decorated in high relief depicting different traditional scenes from the Burmese mythology, showing detailed figures set against a chiseled matted background. The top chased with scrolling bands and base decorated with a thick band of overlapping betel leaves. The quality of the bowl is outstanding, heavy gauge and very crisp. Unmarked as if often the case for Burmese silver, acid tested 900+ standard.
