Antique 19th Century Oriental style solid silver and spinach jade very large magnifying glass. The lens is housed in a silver mount with engraved floral decoration, while the spinach jade handle is fitted with a matching engraved silver knob terminal. An ideal desk accessory or for the household, perfect for reading. Hallmarked sterling silver (925 standard) "Chicago", Retailers mark has been scratched out, possibly an imported Oriental item, later sold in America.
