20thC ENGLISH CAST IRON FIREPROOF SAFE BY STEPHEN COX & SON, SEDGLEY c.1930
A charming cast iron fireproof safe made in England, dating to circa 1930. Finished in its original green paint with a beautifully aged patina, the safe retains its brass maker’s plaque reading “Stephen Cox & Sons, Sedgley, Near Dudley.”
Solidly constructed and complete with its working key, this piece remains fully functional and as practical today as when first manufactured.
