Redmile became synonymous with the bold, glamorous aesthetic of 1970s London interiors, combining natural history elements (horn, bone, shell and exotic materials) with polished brass, chrome and lacquered finishes. This piece perfectly embodies that signature look: raw organic form elevated into high design through architectural presentation. The extraordinary scale, with sweeping curved horns rising dramatically above the skull, creates a powerful silhouette suited to statement interiors.
Both sculptural and decorative, the work reflects the era’s fascination with curated natural history, safari chic and luxury eclecticism. CONDITION
In good vintage condition consistent with age. The skull shows natural patination and minor age-related surface marks. The metal stand has light surface wear and scratches commensurate with use. Structurally sound and displays beautifully. Please refer to photographs.
