ANTIQUE 19thC JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD TAKAAKIA BRONZE OKIMONO
Antique 19th Century Japanese Meiji period Takaakia bronze okimono. The elderly man is seated at rest on a removable wooden bench and stand, his left leg outstretched, holding in his left hand a portable ashtray attached to a tobacco pouch and pipe case, while a pipe is held in the other hand. The underside is signed with chiselled characters Takaaki saku.
