£2,295.00

Antique 20th Century Continental silver-plated hunting dog. Finely crafted and impressive in scale, this statue portrays a Setter on the hunt, poised mid-prowl. Setters were originally bred as gundogs, trained to locate game birds by scent and then “set” in a low crouch to signal their position to hunters. An ideal statement piece for an estate house, it serves equally well as a striking centrepiece for a mantel or table. Unmarked.
