DESCRIPTION
Unusual mid-20th Century Italian solid silver whisky decanter. Mounted with a C-shaped ebonised handle and removable lid. The plain decanter engraved "Ballantine's Finest Scotch Whisky, George Ballentines & Son Limited Distillers". Hallmarked Italian silver (800 standard), Alessandria (AL), active 1936-1971 (23), Retailed by Cicala Genoa.
