DESCRIPTION
A rare and superb Montblanc Limited Edition 4810 "Patron of Art" Fountain Pen Set, celebrating Peter I The Great and his successor Catherine II The Great, promoters of the Russian cultural renaissance.
Peter the Great pen features a gold-plated ornamentation featuring blossom wreath motifs on a green barrel.
Catherine the Great pen features a similar gold plated overlay decoration on a aubergine-coloured barrel.
Both the pens have a 18 Karat Gold nib, into which the symbol of the Russian Empire - the two-headed eagle - is engraved.
The two pens are in perfect condition, never used, each come with the original outer box, laquered wood display box and booklet. The two models dating to 1997.
Both pens are Limited Edition number 1715 / 4810.
CONDITION
Pen and box in Perfect Condition - Never used, just kept in a safe. Just minor wear to the external paper cover.
