ANTIQUE 19thC FRENCH GOLD, NEPHRITE, RUBY & DIAMOND MINIATURE CUP c.1890

Antique 19th Century French 18k gold, nephrite, diamond and ruby miniature cup / charka made in a Russian style. The body of the cup is crafted from a perfectly polished round piece of nephrite, elegantly mounted with a solid gold rim, base rim, and handle. The C-shaped handle features a finely modelled lion motif, embellished with ruby cabochons and mine cut diamonds. A remarkable decorative piece, ideal for cabinet display or as part of a fine collection.

The cup is unhallmarked but has been tested and confirmed as high-purity gold (18ct+).
