VINTAGE 20thC FRENCH SILVER PLATED EQUESTRIAN THEMED BOX BY HERMÈS c.1960

Vintage 20th Century French cigarette box by Hermès, Paris. Of cylindrical form, the box is clad in a tan - brown leather and finished with silver plated metal mounts. The removable lid is distinguished by a sculptural gilt horseshoe motif, an unmistakable reference to Hermès’ equestrian heritage. The interior is gilded and retains its removable cross-form divider, designed to organize cigarettes within the canister and easily lifted out when an open interior is preferred. The underside is marked “HERMÈS PARIS.”
