Aldo Tura (1909–1963) was one of Italy’s most distinctive mid-century designers, celebrated for his luxurious use of materials such as lacquered parchment, goatskin, and richly finished veneers combined with brass and refined detailing. His work, produced in Milan, is known for its sculptural silhouettes and glamorous presence, bridging traditional craftsmanship with modernist design. Today, Tura’s pieces are highly sought after for their originality and unmistakable Italian sophistication.
CONDITION
In very good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. Minor marks and patina to the brass elements and some natural variation to the lacquered goatskin finish. The interior lighting functions correctly but we would recommend rewiring. Please refer to photographs.
