DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century German solid silver impressively lidded tankard, in the style of the early 16th Century example, beautifully embossed with a very detailed and crowded Napoleonic battle scene, large c-shaped handle, hinged domed cover in the same style applied with an acorn leaf shaped thumb-piece and large acorn finial. The base is hallmarked with German marks 800 crescent moon & crown (800 standard)
