Description
Antique early 20th Century German Solid Silver cast figure finely modelled as a standing bird, probably a grouse, very well finished and ornamental. The statue is stunningly well-refined and realistically modelled in every small detail, extremely heavy, detachable head and hinged wings.
The head is Hallmarked German silver (800 standard), Hanau, year 1900's, Maker's marks for J. D. Schleissner & Sohne, one of the greatest manufacturers active in Hanau in the late 19th / early 20th Century. Each part is further stamped French import silver and the head bears an Italian retailer's mark.

In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
