DESCRIPTION
Antique late 19th / early-20th Century pair of German Solid Silver figural table ornaments modelled as a male fishmonger and a female fruit and vegetable seller, both standing on a large shaped-circular base, each sculpture very large and beautifully modelled, pull-off heads, the base is also applied with barrels chased with fish and fruit.
Both pieces are Hallmarked German silver (tested 900+ standard), Hanau, pseudo mark for Neresheimer & Sohne, one of the most important Hanau silver manufacturers specializing in Renaissance and Baroque revival pieces, each part is further stamped English silver (925 standard), Chester, year 1901 (A), Importer's mark BM (Berthold Muller).
CONDITION
In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
