ANTIQUE 20thC GERMAN SOLID SILVER & ENAMEL AVIATION THEMED CIGARETTE CASE c.1900

Antique early 20th Century German solid silver and enamel aviation themed cigarette case. The front is adorned with a wonderful painted enamel scene depicting an early monoplane in flight, in the background, a flat, grassy field landscape with trees in the rear, the skies clear with white and blue whisps. Upon pressing in the thumbpiece, the gilt interior is presented with the original straps. Hallmarked "800" (German Silver), Maker's mark LK (Louis Kuppenhiem).
