Antique 18th Century French magnificent three-coloured 18k gold snuff box / bonbonniere, of round form, engine turned decoration, the cover and base centered with vari-colour gold rosette, edges chased with flowers and husk garlands on a matted ground. Hallmarked with French hallmarks, Paris, 1777-1778, Maker Melchior-Rene Barre (active 1768-1791), discharge marks of Jean Baptiste Fouache (1774-1780)
