DESCRIPTION
Antique late-18th Century French three-coloured 18k gold snuff box, of elongated rectangular form with cut corners, all sides beautifully engraved with engine turned decoration, stamped with dots and stars, boarders decorated with laurel leaves and terminating in small flowers. Hallmarked with French marks, Paris 1783-1789. Small hallmark for Paris 1786-1787, Goldsmith's hallmark illegible.
