20th Century Indian Silver cigarette case, rectangular form with rounded corners, the cover is beautifully repousse' decorated with a Hindu scene representing the Wedding of Rama (seventh avatar of Vishnu) and Sita (incarnation of Lakshmi). The interior is richly gilt.

Unmarked but acid tested shows a 800+ standard, year about 1910-20.
